This electronic can opener takes one of the more awkward kitchen jobs and makes it easy. Set it on the can, press start, and it moves around the rim on its own. When the can is open, press and hold for 3 seconds to stop.

The side-cut system leaves smoother edges for safer handling, and the built-in magnet lifts the top so you can remove it without digging at the rim. That detail matters, especially when you are moving fast or have limited hand strength.

It works with small and large cans starting at 2.05 inches. The cordless body runs on 2 AA batteries, stores neatly in a drawer, and includes an indicator light that shows when it is in use. The housing also uses up to 15% wheat straw material to reduce plastic use.
