Brussel Sprouts Recipe Ideas

Brussels sprouts this Christmas don’t have to be boring. Why not try these two ways of cooking them – we guarantee you wont be disappointed! 

Products in use:

Creamy Brussel Sprouts: 

Ingredients

  • 400 g Brussel sprouts
  • Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • Olive oil
  • Veggie stock
  • Heavy cream
  • Corn starch
  • Thyme
  • Salt and pepper

Method:

  1. Wash and half the Brussel sprouts.
  2. Sauté them in a pan with minced garlic until they’re golden.
  3. For the sauce, the stock and heavy cream together in a pan and add the corn-starch, parmesan and seasoning. Let it simmer for a few minutes. 
  4. Finally, mix in the Brussel sprouts. Enjoy!

Brussel Sprouts Bites:

Ingredients:

  • 400 g Brussel sprouts
  • Butter
  • Seasoning of your choice
  • Grated parmesan

Method: 

  1. Boil the Brussel sprouts and then run cold water through them after cooking. 
  2. Grate the parmesan
  3.  Assemble the bites on a baking tray lined with grease proof paper,  by layering a bit of butter, seasoning, grated parmesan and then squashing the Brussel sprout with a glass on top. 
  4. Sprinkle each bite with some seasoning and parmesan on top.
  5.  Place in the oven until the cheese had browned. Enjoy!
